The exhibition “Forever Young! Poland and It’s Art Around 1900” will be shown at the National Museum in Krakow. The exhibition will show a wide selection of various paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures and crafts which were selected mostly from the museum’s own collection.
The museum will present over 300 art works by different painters and artists from the 1900s. At the exhibition there will be also self portraits displayed of the most outstanding Polish artist Olga Boznańska, Julian Fałat, Jacek Malczewski, Józef Mehoffer, Leon Wyczółkowski and Stanisław Wyspiański. In addition to these at the museum visitors can discover more on the myth of the city through the different illustrated images of the Market Square, the Planty Park and the Krakow churches and the Wasel Castle as well.
Apart from the impressionist paintings by Jacke Malczewski, Józef Mehoffer etc. the exhibition will display other outstanding works and paintings from other famous Krakow painters such as Stanisław Wyspiański, Leona Wyczółkowski and Jan Stanisławski as well. The exhibition Forever Young! Poland and It’s Art Around 1900 will be shown at the National Museum in Krakow. The exhibition is from 26th September 2012 to 4th January 2015.
