The Saint Catherine Church (often known as St. Catherine and St. Margaret’s Church) was founded by Casimir III. The construction of the church starter in the middle of the 14th century. The church has felt victim to several disasters, for example both a flood and a fire in the middle of the 16th century. It later suffered during an earthquake, so we might be grateful that we can even see a church at the location today!
In spite of all of this the church has kept its gothic look, and it is free for visitors to enter into the St. Catherine Church today!
