Krakow has an oceanic climate which means winters are long and cold and summers are fairly hot and dry. Winter starts in December and it lasts until the beginning of March. The International Festival of Jewish Culture will be held again this year from the end of June until the beginning of July in Krakow.

The International Festival of Jewish Culture is the largest Jewish festival in the whole world and it attracts thousands of people every year. This will be the 25th International Festival of Jewish Culture in 2015 and like in every year the best programs and activities are waiting for all the visitors. The main goal of the festival is to show and educate people about the Jewish culture and history. During the ten day long festival visitors can get to know more the Jewish culture and enjoy the best programs and activities the festival offers. The International Festival of Jewish Culture hosts countless concerts, performances, workshops, lectures and different games as well. Apart from these at the festival visitors will have the chance to discover more on the Jewish cuisine and try all the traditional dishes. The exact programs for the festival this year has not been announced yet they will be only available from February 2015. The International Festival of Jewish Culture will take place in Krakow in the Jewish district, Kazimierz. The festival will be held from 26th June to 5th July in 2015.

Top events in Krakow in 2015

Krakow is the second largest city of Poland that attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world. In no time Krakow became one of the most exciting cities in Europe and has countless programs and activities during the whole year.

In 2015 Krakow hosts several cultural festivals including the classical music, film and photography as well as the famous international Festival of Jewish Culture. This year the festival will take place between 26th June and 5th July and it will be the 25th anniversary of the festival.

Other awaited festivals in Krakow are the Krakow Film Festival, International Soup Festival and Tolerance Festival which focuses on the rights of gay people. The Krakow Film Festival will be held in May and June and the festival mostly concentrates on short films and animated movies.

Apart from the festivals there will be different concerts in Krakow as well. The city will host some of the most popular and known artists performances such as Katy Perry, Sting, Paul Simon, Robbie Williams, Andre Rieu and so on. Katy Perry will be on stage in Krakow in the end of February, Sting in March and the Robbie Williams concert will be in the middle of April in 2015. When the weather gets cold and chilly again and it is close to Christmas again in the city the different Christmas markets will appear again. Traditionally the Christmas markets in Krakow and in Poland in general start in the last weeks of November and they last until the end of December every year.
