Ennio Morricone in Krakow

Ennio Morricone is an Italian composer, conductor, orchestrator and a former trumpet player. He has written music for more than 500 television series and motion pictures.

He is one of the most influential film music composers in the world and his music was used in more than 60 award-wining movies. He started his career in 1964 and since then he composed more than 100 classical pieces. He got worldwide known in the period of 1960-75 when he composed music for Italian westerns such as the Once Upon a Time in the West, the Dollars Trilogy, The Big Gundown and several other movies. During this period he composed music for multiple genres from action, comedy, drama and historical films.

Ennio Morricone is now on tour and he is performing in many European countries and cities during his tour. He is giving several concerts and he will perform in Europe. He will be on stage in several European countries such as Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Hungary, Austria and Poland. The concert in Poland will be held in Krakow. He will be on stage 14th February 2015 at the Krakow Arena. The tickets for the concert are available.

Sting and Paul Simon concert in Krakow

Sting and Paul Simon are on a tour together from 2014 until 2015. In 2015 they will come to Krakow, and you are of course welcome to come and check out their concert!

Sting is an English singer, songwriter, activist and actor. He is best known from the rock band the Police and his solo career. He was the lead singer and principal songwriter of the band. During his solo career and with his band The Police he received several awards such as 16 Grammy Awards, 3 Brit Awards and many others as well. Paul Simon started his career 1964 when the duo Simon and Garfunkel was formed. Simon wrote almost all of the duo’s songs including three, The Sound of Silence, the Mrs Robinson and Bridge Over Troubled Water which was ranked number one on the U.S. single charts.

From 2014 Sting and Simon started a concert tour together performing in the USA, Canada, Australia and in multiple European countries as well. They start their tour first in North America and later this year and in the following one they will perform in many different European cities and countries such as Holland, Sweden, Belgium and Poland. In Poland the concert will take place at Krakow Arena. They will be on stage 12th March in 2015. Tickets for the concert are already available.

Andre Rieu concert in Krakow

Andre Rieu is a Dutch violin master and conductor. He is best known for creating the waltz-playing Johan Strauss Orchestra. Andre Rieu and the Johan Strauss Orchestra turned classical and waltz music into a worldwide known concert touring music act which is as successful as some of the biggest and most popular rock music acts in the world.

In his early age he performed as a violinist with the Limburg Symphony Orchestra. Later in 1987 he founded the Johan Strauss Orchestra and his production company. He owns and plays a 1667 Stradivarius violin. He performed solo the first time My Way and Waltzing Matilda in Australia in 2007 September.

Andre Rieu is on tour from 2014. He is giving a world tour in several countries from all around the world including Brazil, UK, the Netherlands, Austria, Hungary and Belgium as well. Andre Rieu’s performance is one of the best selling acts on the world. His new tour’s name is the “Eine Nacht in Venedig”. He will stand on stage in Poland as well. The concert will take place in Krakow 28th May in 2015. He will perform in Krakow Arena, tickets for the concert are already available.
