We don’t have enough lifetime to list all of them, so let’s talk about just one: Mick Hucknall. He was the Simply Red’s red, curly-haired singer, who charmed more than a million people with his soft, wide-ranging voice.

Mick Hucknall was born in 1960, Denton, England. His mother left her family, when the little Mick was only three years old, so he was brought up by his father. Hucknall met with his mother only three times in his lifetime.

For the music career a Sex Pistols concert in Manchester gave the inspiration in 1976. After this event Hucknall and a few friends formed the band, Frentic Elevators, the Simply Red was born from this formation a few years later. The name bows in front of the singer’s red hair. The band stayed up for 25 years and sold 50 million albums finally broke up in 2010. Mick Hucknall released his first solo album, the American Soul, two years later, in 2012. The album include all of the songs which are inspired the singer in his career.

Everybody can’t wait for spring 2013, because in this time Hucknall starts his way to show his solo album to his fans in live, like a music performance.
