If you are interested in medicine, then the exhibition named “600 years of the Faculty of Medicine” will be a great thing to check out. This is arranged by the Faculty of Medicine at the Jagiellonian University, and you can get to know the history of the faculty. In the exhibition you can see old anatomy books, diplomas, historical medical equipment and much more.
The exhibition can be seen between January 12th and February 28th, 2012.
If you are in for an event dealing with music connected to Easter, and the mystique around the Easter celebration, the Misteria Paschalia Festival in Krakow is the thing to check out. Christmas is approaching, and Krakow is one great city to visit in this period before Christmas. They have an annual Christmas market on the Main Market Square which is great, and the city is very idyllic. It is also worth knowing that Krakow is a great city for New Years Eve, with a big party arranged every year at the Main Market Square. Do not miss it!
Also worth knowing is that it can get really cold in this period in all of Poland, and so also in Krakow. Bring therefore warm clothes and be prepared for some real cold weather.
