A kapu 1307-ben \u00e9p\u00fclt, nev\u00e9t Krakk\u00f3 v\u00e9d\u0151szentj\u00e9r\u0151l, Szent Fl\u00f3ri\u00e1nr\u00f3l kapta. Amikor m\u00e9g a fal \u00e1llt, \u00f6sszesen 8 ilyen kapun kereszt\u00fcl lehetett a v\u00e1rosba bejutni, mindegyikhez tartozott egy felvon\u00f3h\u00edd.
