DESCRIPTION:\nSimply Red has a long history, and a part of that history includes several concerts in Poland. Now the band is returning to our magnificent country, but the only city to host a concert with the band is Krakow. In other words, your only chance at listening to Simply Red live in Poland in 2025 is if you come to the city of Krakow on November 4.\n\n\n\nSimply Red is a British soul and pop band that was formed in 1985 in Manchester, England. Is is led by lead vocalist Mick Hucknall ( https://www.instagram.com/hucknall.m/ ). The band’s sound is a blend of soul, pop, and new wave, drawing influences from jazz, rock, and reggae. Did you know that the band got its name from Hucknall’s distinctive red hair and his allegiance to the socialist movement (“red” being a political reference)? \n\n\n\nSimply Red has been to Poland several times, and even though most concerts have been held in Warsaw, the band has also visited Gdansk and Krakow before. Here are some of the dates for the previous Simply Red concerts in Poland.\n\n\n\n\n2009: Simply Red performed in Warsaw at the Torwar Hall on May 12 as part of their “The Greatest Hits” tour.\n\n\n\n2015: On October 24, the band returned to Warsaw, performing at the Torwar Hall again during their “Big Love” tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary.\n\n\n\n2016: Simply Red played at the Ergo Arena in Gdańsk/Sopot on November 26 during their “25 Years of Stars” tour, celebrating the 25th anniversary of their iconic Stars album. The band played at Tauron arena in Krakow the day before, on November 25.\n\n\n\n\nIt is easy to add up the math and understand that there will not be a lot of upcoming Simply Red concerts in Poland after this.
